China's Global aspirations; It's implications on India's national interests.

" The basis of government is jugglery . If it works it becomes a policy"- ( Benjamin Franklin ) . This applies perfectly to the policy of Indian Government towards the Chinese despotic global aspirations to manifest as the undisputed superpower.
The border disputes between the two Nation States, might not be of prime interests as of now for India as it has bigger issues to handle both internally and externally.  To a large extint, peace and tranquility maintained in borders shared by India and China, there isn't much of a threat, barring a few aggressions here and there, as PM Modi rightly said " Even though there is disputes within our borders, not even one single bullet has been fired since 1962" this situation is far better when compared to our greatest regional adversary, " The Terror republic of Pakistan" . But India has bigger issues to worry and analyse, which is the different stages of war China is waging upon us -
1) Phycological warfare: Chinese are well aware about the fact that India and Pakistan is at a proxy war state in Kashmir, even after repeated claims made by India on the  POK( Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) as an integral part of India, it has no regards for the sovereignty of that territory as CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) passes through the Baltistan region, by increased presence of it's army stationed their base they are indirectly indicting a military threat there. Most people are aware of the fact that China is the key strategic defense partner to Pakistan, but a far more serious issue to be concerned about is that Chinese are supplying Pakistan with tactical Nuclear weapons which means, it can use missile technology and can blow up several Indian cities at a stroke, as the military industrial complex of Pakistan is on its toes to make a nuclear strike on India. Utilizing Pakistan as it's footsoldier
Chinese are clearly waging a Phycological war on India.
2) Diplomatic warfare : I have extensively spoken about the diplomatic crisis in my previous article. To just give a glimpse of it, Indian diplomats are facing random challenges while engaging in talks as they are coming up with eighteenth century maps of borders to discuss and resolve the present crisis and call for unconditional talks on doklam. Not only this, they are trying to play hide and seek games in the Chinese embassy in India by negatively projecting the government's stand by engageing in talks with the opposition parties and through it's NGO's by playing victim card, by accusing India of intervening in the Chinese strategic interests across the globe by making use their embassies across the world.
3) Legal warfare: China is illegitimately claiming a few territories of Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh and created a big fuss about the Dalilama's visit to Arunachal. By attempting to rename the regions of Arunachal Pradesh into Chinese names created a huge legal blunder. It's latest episode was displayed on Docklam plateau, which is an integral part of the sovereign republic of Bhutan. Even though China has illegally annexed aksai-chin region, Indian State has the civility to engage with the Chinese counterparts with all responsibly at their command.
4) Media Propaganda warfare: The jingoistic of all is the media propaganda that the Chinese are deeply engaged with. From the mediums like Global Times a news tabloid and a month peace of the Communist party of China, they are threatening India of repeating 1962. Along with such incredible threats it is running a pomp and show filled with extravaganza, of Chinese soldiers, tanks and artillery marching towards India and their soldiers practicing in the barak to show proudly to their citizens that they are war ready.

India's panchasheel document did not even make a little difference with the Chinese, it perhaps had the most negative repercussions, later Mr Rajeev Gandhi and P.V .Narashimarao had put a blanket on the territorial issues and started to engage with Chinese economically. Since we are becoming more self reliant, it's high time to review or revisit this policy and make a pradigm shift .

India must keenly take stock of this behavioural patterns emerging aggressively form China the global superpower aspirant . A joint collaboration of  by patisan stand on the national security and national interest must be adhered to, at a political level. On the strategic level a collaboration of military intelligence and diplomatic intelligence would play an important role.
Government must take consultation of the unbiased academia and intelligentsia. In this process the civil society much also be coherent and stand with the government in an active manner.

China is not able to digest the fact that India is becoming more and more economically stronger, and it is the only hurdle for China to become a regional Hegemon . As China has become a global superpower aspirant, it is trying to flex it's muscles across Asia perhaps being unsuccessful in several quarters. India must be in a high alert state always while dealing with China.

RESTRUCTURING INDIA’S FOREIGN POLICY

Contemporary Geopolitics is making the world order navigate through highly turbulent and vociferous times. Combating a pandemic and the apprehensive rise of Chinese hegemony has caused the already disruptive diplomatic institutions in the world, to engage in a transactional and an aggressive modus operandi. India's international challenges are no different than these; the rising hostilities with the Chinese, Pakistan’s everlasting nuisance, growing strategic gaps in the Indian subcontinent, dynamic changes in the Asian and Global Geopolitics compels us to address the concerns of strategic ambiguity which is supposed to have gripped the policymaking community and the echelons of decision-making authorities both in political and bureaucratic circles. Therefore examining and analyzing the nature and conduct of India’s foreign policy, the structural fault lines and strategic ambiguity that come along with it becomes critical.
